What We Have to Offer

Fly fishing, family vacation, bird watching, writer’s retreat, or “work from home” in a relaxing setting, this cabin, nestled in the woods, is the perfect get-away.  Our cabin has been a family retreat for years providing memories, laughter, adventure and wonder! You can experience the magic of the area with the festivals, displays of color and cooler evenings in the fall, when tired kids fall asleep on laps around the campfire, daffodils blooming in the spring and boating on the lake any time of year. Relaxation can be experienced in the generous gathering places inside and out to include a handmade picnic table that seats 12, we’ve served holiday meals, played board games, pressed flowers, created beautiful gingerbread houses, and tied flies.  We hope you and yours will enjoy some time in nature where, on a clear night, there’s just enough of a break in the trees to see the magnificent Milky Way!

The cabin sits on 2.5 acres in Norther Hills, just north of Girls Gone Wine, off of 259a running along the lake. It has three bedrooms, two full baths, a kitchen big enough to make Thanksgiving dinner or a camp breakfast! Locally, there’s no end to the things you might enjoy. You have the Lower Mountain Fork River with rainbows, browns and the occasional small mouth bass or walleye in Broken Bow Lake for fishing. Also close by are golf, shopping, nature centers, a petting zoo and train, restaurants, shopping and more. Or you can just read a book on the back porch listening to the birds and waiting for the sun to drop when the smoky sweet smell of marshmallows roasting again wafts in the air!
